Meet the Citadel Community - Ryan Wollin

Meet Ryan Wollin....

Ryan grew up in central Alberta. He is a third generation righand and a family man who enjoys working outside with people.

Ryan went to work on the rigs straight out of high school in 1998. He started as Leasehand and worked his way up to Derrick while working for JoMax drilling. Ryan left the rigs for a short period of time to work on the famiy farm, and he took three years of trade school to be a Pipefitter. Even though he had the farm and was in his third year of pipefitting, he decided to return to his career on the drilling rigs.

When Ryan returned to the rigs, he decided to change companies and went to work for Nabors Drilling, eventually arriving at Trinidad Drilling where he worked as an Assistant Driller and Driller on new tech rigs.

Ryan made the decision to join Citadel in the early fall of 2014. He had a keen interest in technology and in working for a company with growth potential. Citadel is happy to have Ryan call Citadel Rig 2 home. His hard work and dedication to the company is appreciated!
