Job Description:

The primary duty of the Leasehand is to provide general labour to the rig site.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the lease is kept tiny and clean
Garbage must be picked up and separated into hazardous and non-hazardous materials for disposal and recycling.
Wash down the outsides of all buildings.
Ensure the insides of the building as clean and tidy.
Keep ditches open to avoid flooding of lease area.
Advise Driller of any items that may need repair.
Keep stairs and walkways free of ice at all times.
Ensure doghouse area is clean and tidy with equipment and parts sorted and properly arranged.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

As the Leasehand becomes more experienced the following duties may be assigned:
- Catch samples.
- Keep incinerators shoveled out.
- Assist in the repair of pumps.
- Assist in or change oils.

Support and promote the QHSE program to all employees.
Set an example to fellow Crew Members and employees to adhere to QHSE policies, and safe work practices.
Participate in weekly safety meetings, rig inspections, and Hazard I.D. Program.
Encourage fellow crew members and employees to adhere to safety regulations, work practices and policies.
Report all Incidents and Near Misses to the Driller or Rig Manager immediately.
Preform all other duties as required by Driller or Rig Manager.
